In a connected building, each sensor plays a key role: it measures temperature, humidity, CO₂, brightness and even occupancy. This data reflects the actual behaviour of the building, its occupants and the areas in which it is located, and is used for monitoring, optimisation and management in each project.
Connected to a LoRaWAN gateway, it is transmitted securely and reliably to a monitoring platform.
There, it is centralised, visualised and analysed within a BMS (Building Management System) to enable global control, intelligent management of projects and areas, and optimised management of facilities.

## **From collection to action: a virtuous performance cycle**

To transform a building into an intelligent hub, you need to follow four steps:
Collect data → Structure → Analyze → Transform into action.
The objective is clear:

- Improve energy efficiency,
- Reduce electricity costs and energy consumption,
- Offer greater comfort to occupants,
- Simplify maintenance,
- Optimize floor space,
- Comply with energy regulations.

Thanks to the Navixis solution, it is now possible to monitor performance across all territories and communities, associate each piece of equipment with its location, and easily integrate energy consumption data from the IoT into any tool or platform via API or Webhook.

This interoperability guarantees smooth, scalable use of IoT data to manage energy consumption in territories and local authorities, for intelligent, sustainable energy management.
Each IoT-connected platform can centralize, visualize and analyze data, providing a single platform for precise, high-performance monitoring.

## **Intelligent control to reduce carbon footprint**

The benefits are tangible:

- Up to 30% energy savings thanks to supervision,
- A measurable reduction in consumption,
- Centralized, intelligent control,
- Reduced carbon footprint.

By transforming data into action levers, smart building managers can anticipate drifts, diagnose inappropriate behavior or detect malfunctions. Real-time alerts ensure optimal operation of installations, heating adjusted to the right needs, and greater flexibility in system management, guaranteeing controlled consumption, intelligent smart building management and better coordination of services for local authorities.

These services contribute directly to energy performance, overall building comfort, operational flexibility and the efficiency of local authorities in their management and optimization missions. The flexibility of the solutions deployed means that services can be rapidly adapted to the specific needs of occupants and local areas.

## **Combining comfort, performance and sustainability**

Combining comfort and energy savings is now possible thanks to the use of IoT data.

Solutions such as Navixis and the Nexelec product range are part of this approach: they enable data to be collected, understood and acted upon, making smart buildings true players in the energy transition, real players in comfort and associated services in every territory.

The smart building offers a complete view of energy performance, a detailed view of day-to-day comfort and a global view of services dedicated to occupants in the territory, positioning buildings as real players in sustainability and global security.
